ACL/NOA – Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratory of the National Observatory of Athens

Description: The Atmospheric Chemistry Laboratory (A.C.L.) of NOA was founded in 1996. In 2005, the Laboratory upgraded its existing infrastructure, for the provision of chemical analyses and air pollutants measurements services, with emphasis on hazardous for public health chemical compounds (II). From then on, A.C.L./NOA has developed and applied an integrated Quality Management System according to ELOT EN ISO-IEC 17025 international standard, for the provision of accredited services targeted towards the detection and measurement of chemical compounds that are harmful to the environment and public health. The immediate objective of A.C.L./NOA is the provision of high quality accredited services for measuring atmospheric and other pollutants, in order to meet the demands of Greek society, state and private bodies, for sustainable economic and technological development, coupled with environmental and public health protection
