The main objective of BeRTISS is to develop and implement a pilot transnational severe weather service based on GNSS tropospheric products for the Balkan?Mediterranean area to improve the safety and quality of life and the protection of the environment, through the timely information regarding severe weather events and the long-term monitoring of climate change in the region.
