Building Physicist, member of the Group Energy Conservation (GREC) at IERSD-NOA since 2001. Research topics of interest: energy conservation and rational use of energy in the built environment, building typologies, building stock modeling, Life Cycle Analysis, thermal performance simulations, natural ventilation, indoor environmental quality, and CFD analysis. Participated in the development of the technical guidelines and the national regulation on the energy performance of buildings (KENAK) for EPBD transposition in Greece. Scientific responsible and coordinator assistant in National and EU funded research projects. Author in over 100 scientific articles published in international peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Reviewer in international scientific journals. Vice president of the Scientific Council of IERSD-NOA for the period 2020-2022. Member of the Board of Directors of CRES (Centre of Renewable Energy Sources) in the period 2010-2013. ASHRAE Hellenic Chapter member.
