LIFE AskREACH helps consumers and companies to apply the “Right to Know” about substances of very high concern in articles (SVHC). A Smartphone App will be developed in order to aid consumers scan the barcodes of articles they are willing to purchase and make informed choices based on the knowledge of the possibility of existence of SVHC. The project goals will be achieved through information and awareness raising campaigns directed towards consumers and companies. The National Observatory of Athens is a partner and Dr. Vasiliki Assimakopoulou is the P.I. The campaigning will be supported by the environmental organization – ECOCITY. General Chemical State Laboratory of Greece is supporting LIFE AskREACH as a Competent Authority responsible for REACH implementation through Article 33. More info at: LIFE AskREACH
