Decision Aid Framework for the assessment of impacts from the introduction of Best Available Techniques in industry

The project aimed at developing methodologies and tools which facilitate the reduction of anthropogenic impacts on the atmospheric environment of the broader Attica region (where the capital Athens is located) where severe environmental pressures do exist due to the concentration of a large number of inhabitants and services, as well as due to the significant industrial activity. More specifically, the project aimed at exploring, developing and applying a) an appropriate methodological framework and b) necessary computational tools for decision-makers so that they are assisted in estimating the economic, environmental and social impacts from planned policies and measures for reducing industrial GHG and other air emissions.
