and information, by operating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the largest network of automatic weather stations in the country (420, December 2019),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>operational high-resolution weather forecasting systems (waves, UV radiation, dust transport, storms, etc.) for Europe and Greece,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a system for producing weather-related satellite products (probability of rainfall, cloud height and thickness, storm monitoring, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>crowdsourcing systems for reporting severe weather phenomena,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>early and accurate warning systems for severe weather phenomena, including pyro-meteorological conditions affecting the occurrence and spread of forest fires,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>databases for systematic recording of weather-related natural disasters, impact analyses, and vulnerability assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-layout-flow
