Production of detailed sectoral climate information at regional\/local scale, tailored to the needs of stakeholders and policymakers. More specifically, future climate change projections are produced in map format up to 2100, focusing on changes in mean values of climate parameters and extreme events, using appropriate regional climate models and greenhouse gas emission scenarios. Data from various regional climate models and for different greenhouse gas emission scenarios for specific regions of Greece are available upon request.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4742860040d95b64f8b51b38814e95c5\" style=\"color:#0b0b0b;font-size:16px\"><strong>The service is intended for:<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#bcded4\"><strong>\u2713<\/strong> Municipalities <strong>\u2713<\/strong> Organizations involved in climate change adaptation <strong>\u2713<\/strong> Consulting firms in the public and private sector <strong>\u2713<\/strong> Non-governmental organizations in the field of environment and public health <strong>\u2713<\/strong> Academic community<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-437709933ee872e91e500f6bdf761ba5\" style=\"color:#0b0b0b;font-size:16px\"><strong>Methodologies and Tools Applied:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p>Climate models are computational programs that simulate weather systems over time and can estimate the Earth&#8217;s average climate conditions under different scenarios. They simulate natural climate processes and reproduce atmospheric and oceanic conditions under various climate change scenarios. To assess the impacts of climate change at regional and local scales, high spatial resolution climate information is required.
